From a very young age, I began my journey in the arts, an inevitable attraction that led me to explore photography and surrealist painting as languages to express myself. These disciplines shaped my perspective and guided me towards advertising, a bridge that allowed me to immerse myself in the vast universe of graphic and visual arts.
Along the way, moving images completely captivated me. The possibility of telling stories through time and light became an obsession, driving me to create audiovisual pieces with purpose. It was then that I decided to take a step further and delve into the study of film, discovering in cameras the true power of capturing the essence of movement and emotion.
The need to understand this magic led me to deepen my knowledge of light, composition, and all the techniques that define cinematography. Each frame, each shadow, became pieces of a language with which I continue to build my voice as a cinematographer.
Despite my immersion in digital, I keep returning to analog photography as an intimate refuge where I capture my personal vision. Each image that emerges from the grain of film has a purpose: to share my way of seeing the world through artistic pieces that become tangible on paper and that I can share with others.
Desde muy joven, inicié mi vida en el arte, una atracción inevitable que me llevó a explorar la fotografía y la pintura surrealista como lenguajes para expresarme. Estas disciplinas moldearon mi mirada y me guiaron hacia la publicidad, un puente que me permitió sumergirme en el vasto universo de las artes gráficas y visuales.
En ese camino, la imagen en movimiento me atrapó por completo. La posibilidad de narrar historias a través del tiempo y la luz se convirtió en una obsesión, empujándome a crear piezas audiovisuales con propósito. Fue entonces cuando decidí dar un paso más allá y adentrarme en el estudio del cine, descubriendo en las cámaras el verdadero poder de capturar la esencia del movimiento y la emoción.
La necesidad de comprender esta magia me llevó a profundizar en la luz, la composición y todas las técnicas que definen la cinematografía. Cada encuadre, cada sombra, se convirtieron en piezas de un lenguaje con el que continúo construyendo mi voz como cinematógrafo.
A pesar de mi inmersión en lo digital, sigo volviendo a la fotografía analógica como un refugio íntimo donde plasmo mi visión personal. Cada imagen que nace en el grano de una película tiene un propósito: compartir mi manera de ver el mundo a través de piezas artísticas que se vuelven tangibles en el papel y que puedo compartir con los demás.
